Come and enjoy games, crafts, food and fun celebrating the Christmas season. Children of all ages are invited to attend. Please confirm your attendance on the sign-up sheet located on the bulletin board in the narthex. Anyone willing to volunteer to help at this event, please see Kelli Taylor.
Operation Christmas Child
It’s that time again! The deadline for Operation Christmas Child quickly approaches. If you’d like to pack you own shoebox to send to child in need, here are some guidelines:
- Start with a larger item (doll, ball and pump, outfit, etc.) and then fill the shoebox in with smaller things.
- Don’t forget about personal hygiene items, craft supplies, clothing, and batteries for toys that need them!
- You can include a note to your child.
- Please don’t pack food, liquid items (lip gloss, filled balls, etc.), realistic gun toys, realistic camouflage, etc.
You may place your box in the narthex. Don’t forget to fill out a label with the gender/age of the child your box is for. You’ll find the labels in the narthex as well. The last day to drop off a filled shoebox is November 11th.
Kids Club needs your help! We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy working with this amazing group of kids! For more details, please see Kelli Taylor.
